Open Letter to Superintendent Truitt and the North Carolina School Board

In this letter to Superintendent Truitt of the North Carolina School Board, we commend the actions of the Department of Public Instruction for using accurate terminology and pedagogy in their social studies revisions. All too often, the media uses academic terminology incorrectly despite being bold enough to handle tough topics that are avoided in academic circles.
