Volunteer Spotlight

This week is volunteer appreciation week! We are so grateful for the awesome volunteer board members that are apart of Moms Against Racism.

Today's spotlight "Yolanda Gordon" who serves over Governance & Advocacy.

She is a mother of three and advocate from Tega Cay, South Carolina. She has years of experience working with fellowship programs, which provide intense advocacy training for young advocates ages 20-30. Gordon began her work in advocacy in the disability community advocating for her two children on the autism spectrum. She currently works as a Senior Associate over Expansion & Advocacy with RESULTS. As a MAR board member she works closely with the leadership team to ensure that the MARS strategic plan is the leading force to sustaining the organization internationally. She guides our USA state directors on best practices and policy observances when advocacting for racial injustices. She provides MAR policy oversight with the Founders Circle as we scale our organization globally.

Thank you Yolanda for the great work that you do everyday to lead MAR members all over the world in prioritizing their anti-racism journey by

"Doing the Work. Starting at Home".
